We’re incredibly excited to be able to introduce our newest appointment to the new position of Strategy Director to support our continued growth.
Emma Hodgkinson joins after more than four years at Asda, to lead the strategic team at Logic+Magic, bolstering the offering to clients including Weleda, East of England Co-op and Booking.com.
The appointment marks the growth intent from the agency’s CEO, Darren Low following a period of acquisitions throughout 2020 and 2021.
Emma, who has also previously worked for Nisa and Agency side with Jaywing on accounts including First Direct, University of Nottingham and Eon, will be responsible for growing the Logic+Magic’s strategic offering, and helping clients solve complex problems by placing insight and the customer at the heart of everything it does.
She said:
I’m delighted to be joining Logic+Magic at such an exciting stage of the agency’s growth.
Strategy is at the heart of innovative solutions to any problems for businesses, and I’m really looking forward to getting to know both clients and new colleagues.
As an agency we need to be agile to deliver on our clients’ business goals and objectives, developing a long-term business partnering mindset with them, to help navigate the challenging world we now live in, and the ever-changing demands of the customer.
I’ll be spending the first few months putting together thorough internal approaches to our ways of working and also working with clients on their strategic objectives and how we can partner together.
We live in a very different world now and it’s vital we reflect this in our approach to delivering valuable and tangible benefits to business, who are all going through changes caused by outside influences.
Logic+Magic is the brainchild of Darren Low, founder of Liquorice, who acquired London and Carlisle digital development specialists Upbeat Productions, leading UX agency, Fathom based in Belfast and Dublin, North West brand communications agency Bugler Smith and Birmingham based JC Social Media.
The agency provides a comprehensive range of services focussed on four key pillars of strategy, creative, technology and marketing communications for Small Cap Plc, Large SME and Third Sector organisations.
